# Validate Active Directory Credentials On PC

Validate AD Credentials with a Windows AD Server using MIS Communicator. The PC/server where MIS Communicator is running must be on the specified domain, and it will verify if the specified login is valid in that domain.

### Parameters

* **Communication Profile** *\<unquoted string> -* The name of the specified communication profile.
* **Domain** *\<string> -* Domain where the active directory is available.
* **User** *\<string> -* Username used to access the active directory.
* **Password** *\<string> -* Password of the user previously indicated to access the active directory.
* **Target** *\<variable or control> -*
