# Focus Order

Located in the Ribbon menu "[Edit](/kalipso5/using/environment/menu/edit.md)", the Focus Order lets you define two things:

* The focus order of the Controls.
* The order the Controls are created. This way you can define the order of overlapped controls.

The Controls will be designed and have their focus by the order defined. So, the first Control will be the top most and the last, the bottom most.

When clicked, the following window appears:

As you can see, you can choose the plane you want and move the controls up or down (using the side buttons) as needed.
