To access the "Manage Apps" option, you must first select the gear icon on the main screen. There appears the following information:
Click on the option "Manage Apps".
If you have defined a pincode to access the configuration area, the pincode will be required. For more information click here.
A similar screen to the one in the image bellow will appear. This is the list of apps available. All apps will be listed – the ones created by the users, and the default ones.
The default apps cannot be deleted. They can only be deactivated. For that, click on the blue icon from the left.
In the superior part of the screen there will be some available features.
Order Apps - To define the order in which the apps will appear in the main screen.
Import - Used to import apps from other terminals, through different processes illustrated in the page about installing apps on other devices. Access here.
Lookup Tables - To set an array or matrix of data that contains items that are searched. See more about this here. In the app "Barcode Compare" it's not possible to use lookup tables.
More (three points) - When clicking, two options will be shown:
Reset Predefined Apps - If clicked, the 5 default apps will be re-configurated to their default values. The apps created by the user won’t be modified or deleted.
Reset DCAPP - If clicked, the 5 default apps will be re-configurated to their default values, and the apps created by the user will be deleted.
At the bottom of the screen is an icon that allows you to add a new app:
Add App - Add an app from scratch. See more about creating an app here.
For each app there is a group of features available.
Duplicate app - Duplicate a selected app.
Share app - Share an app through different processes illustrated in the page about installing apps on other devices. Access here.
Delete app - Delete a selected app. It only applies if there is an app created from scratch (in addition to the default ones).
Click on the app to access the configuration mode from it. See more here.
When the App starts, it will look for files ending in “.DCAPP.AUTO”, if it finds, it will import them and then delete them.
So, when you export an App to a file, a file with .DCAPP extension is exported. If you change the name to .DCAPP.AUTO, then copy this file to the device to the folder “Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.sysdevmobile.DCAPP\files”, when DCApp starts it will import it.
