To access the "Terminal Configuration", you must first select the gear icon on the main screen. There appears the following information:
In this option, the parameters for using the application in the terminal are defined.
Thus, the fields indicate the following:
Terminal ID - Terminal ID can be a value from 1 to 9999. We recommend that you configure each terminal with a different ID. This value will be used to create a name of the file to export.
Terminal Description - This is an optional field. You can give it any description that you like (e.g. Store London).
Administrator Pincode - To prevent users to get in the configuration áreas, define a pincode to access those areas. If you define a pincode, users will be required to type a pincode each time they click on button Configuration from the main screen. If there is no pincode defined, then the DCAPP will not prompt user to type a pincode. You can learn more about this field here.
Language - Select your DCAPP language. The available languages are:
English
French
Spanish
Portuguese
Italian
German
Romanian
Hungarian
Russian
Polish
Ukrainian
The denomination of the referenced languages appears in its original form of the source language. For example, Hungarian appears as Magyar.
Export Configuration with Apps - This option in the terminal configuration screen serves to include terminal configurations in the exported Apps. If this option is selected, when an App is exported, it will include the terminal and communications configurations.
Use Cortex Camera Scanner - DCAPP allows terminals that do not have a barcode reader to do so using the camera. By default, the ZXing application is active (which allows an Android device with image hardware to read barcodes or 2D and retrieve the encoded data). DCAPP also supports a professional decoder (Cortex Camera). To do this, just click on the button to activate this option and then enter the licensing data as shown in the image above.
You will have to buy a license from Cortex indicating that it is the license for Kalipso. See more in https://www.codecorp.com/
When purchasing a license, you must ask for the license for Apps developed with Kalipso.
When you activate the "Use Cortex Camera Scanner" option, then two fields appears related to information about the Cortex licence:
Licence Customer ID - Enter the customer ID.
Licence String - Enter the licence string.
This information is provided by Cortex during the licensing process.
The Cortex Camera option does not appear when the terminal has a native barcode reading system.
