# Overview

The goal of this manual is to help with the first steps for testing and deploying Kalipso apps to iOS devices.

Testing is done using KClient. In this manual we will explain how you can install KClient on a iOS device, and then use it to tests your Apps.

Deployment is normally done when you have finished your App or you want to start distributing it for beta testing. In this manual there is also a section explaining how to generate an IPA file with your project and submit that file to Apple Store for distribution or beta testing with TestFlight.

This guide is divided in 3 main Sections

1. [Requirements](/kalipso-ios-deployment/requirements/requirements.md)
2. [Testing](/kalipso-ios-deployment/testing/kalipso.md)
3. [Deployment](/kalipso-ios-deployment/deployment/overview-and-requirements.md)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://doc.sysdevmobile.com/kalipso-ios-deployment/master.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
