# Newland Scan Enable

Enables a Newland Scan device.

Action available for the following operating systems:

### Parameters

* **Data** *\<unquoted string> -* The control or variable that saves the data readed from the Newland Scan device.
* **Type** *\<unquoted string> -* The control or variable that saves the readed type for the Newland Scan device. Newland SDK currently does not report this information, so it will always be 0.
