# Barcode Scanned

This Event is triggered when a device reads a Barcode, RFID tag, etc.

This event is supported by all the existent manufacturers that have barcode action on Kalipso.

If you add Actions to Event ‘[Baracoda Scanned](/kalipso5/developing/form/controls/events/baracoda-scanned.md)’ this Event will not be triggered by Baracoda Scanners.
