# Barcode Scanned

This Event is triggered when a device reads a Barcode, RFID tag, etc.

If you add Actions to Event ‘[Baracoda Scanned](https://doc.sysdevmobile.com/kalipso5/developing/form/controls/events/baracoda-scanned)’ this Event will not be triggered by Baracoda Scanners.
