Multi-Language Text

Kalipso - Developing - Specific options - Language and Translation - Multi-Language Text

When you click on the option in the Project menu, the following window appears:

In the window you can access the list of Multi-Language Text already created (left column) and view some data about them (right column).‌

On the left side is a list with all the strings created for the multi-language text. You can create a new one or edit an existing one. On the right side, the relation between the default language (in the case of the example image is English) appears with the base word and the same word in another language (in the case of the example image it is Portuguese).

For the management of Multi-Language Text, five simple icons are available:

• Add - Adds a Multi-Language Text string

• Edit - Edit the selected Multi-Language Text.

• Delete - Deletes the selected Multi-Language Text.

• Duplicate - Duplicates the selected Multi-Language Text.

• Check Usage - Performs a search of where the Global Action Set selected in the list is used through the project.

The data shown in the image is illustrative.

Add / Edit

When you click on add a new Multi-Language Text a new window appears that allows you to create it. This window is similar to the one that appears when editing an already created. Therefore, the process for both actions is described simultaneously.

On top put the word in the language by default (in the case of the example image is English) below the word in another language (in the case of the example image it is Portuguese).
