# Resize Image

Resize specified image.

Action available for the following operating systems:

### Parameters

* **Source File** *\<string> -* The full path and name of the source file.
* **Format** *\<unquoted string> -* The type of format of the saved file with a resized image. There are several formats available: *Auto*, *JPG* (.jpeg), *BMP* (.bmp), *GIF* (.gif) or *PCX* (.pcx).
* **Target File Name** *\<string> -* The target file name that saves the resized image. The user must indicate the full path and the file name.
* **Format** *\<unquoted string> -* The type of format of the saved file with a resized image. There are several formats available: *Auto*, *JPG* (.jpeg), *BMP* (.bmp), *GIF* (.gif) or *PCX* (.pcx).
* **Quality** *\<numeric> -* A number that represents the quality of the image. It only available when the image format is JPEG. This parameter is represented in %, that means the values are between 1 and 100.
* **New Size** *\<radiobox>*
  * **By Percentage** *\<numeric> -* Indicates a percentage of the resizing action.
  * **Specify Size** *\<numeric> -* Indicates the Width and the Height of the resizing operation.

When the image is resized, actually a new image is generated with the resized contents.\
It should happen in any KClient, we do not support image resize or rotate with preservation of metadata. In this case, if you need that data, you will need to keep the original file and make the resize to a copy.
