# RECEXTRAEVENT

This Keyword returns a *\<numeric>*, when a voice command is recognized in Kalipso Voice with Nuance Engine.

* It will have value **1** if it considers that the voice command was in fact an external event like a door slam or other type of noise.
* It will have value **0** if it considers the voice command to be from user input.

There are settings related to this in the **Voice Settings** screen that control how the application behaves when an External Event is detected.
